Within Mad Monster Mansion, the transformation proves crucial for accessing Loggo the toilet, located in the mansion’s second-floor bathroom after players use Kazooie’s Rat-a-tat Rap technique to break the window. Loggo offers to flush the transformed duo down into the septic tank, where players have to navigate between Whipcracks and Grille Chompas to retrieve a Jiggy alongside Golden Feathers and a Mumbo Token. The pumpkin form also allows collection of an Extra Honeycomb hidden beneath loose floorboards in a second-floor room, accessible through the same hedge maze entrance used to reach the mansion’s bathroom. Additionally, players can use the pumpkin form to drop through a pipe located on the mansion’s first floor, collecting another Jiggy during the descent. Outside Mad Monster Mansion within Gruntilda’s Lair, the pumpkin transformation becomes mandatory for progression through access to an old shack containing a white water level switch. After breaking the iron gate as the standard duo, players must transform into the pumpkin to squeeze through the entrance door, then revert to normal form to activate the switch on the ground that raises Rusty Bucket Bay’s water level by one. Also, the form provides exclusive access to Cheato behind Brentilda in the lava-filled room, requiring navigation along a narrow path to reach the magical spellbook who provides the REDFEATHERS cheat code for doubling Red Feather capacity from 50 to 100. Interestingly, the pumpkin maintains the longest operational range among all forms, extending as far as the Gobi’s Valley jigsaw puzzle area.
