Flight controls allow vertical and horizontal movement with unlimited duration, providing comprehensive aerial navigation throughout Capital Cashino. The combat system involves firing missiles at enemies, breakable walls and environmental obstacles that block progression through various areas. These missiles prove effective against laser turrets that guard restricted sections and can destroy cube-shaped rock formations blocking access to the Shooting Gallery and other specialized zones. Additionally, the missiles can eliminate non-functional slot machines positioned throughout Capital Cashio, revealing Casino Chips hidden within these broken gambling devices. Also, the transformation enables completion of escort missions involving Sir Scoffsalot and his fellow pig knights, who only communicate with Yooka and Laylee while in helicopter form. These characters provide cryptic riddles indicating their desired destinations, such as requesting transport to areas with trees or specific landmark locations within the casino. Successfully completing these timed escort missions within the time limits rewards players with Casino Chips, which function as the primary currency system in Capital Cashino where ten chips exchange for one Pagie through the Casino Banker.
