Jinjo Bingo

In Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts, King Jingaling runs the Bingo Palace, a castle in the Seaside district of Showdown Town south of Klungo’s Arcade near a lake. The place looks like it’s based on King Jingaling’s original Throne Room from the game Banjo-Tooie, though he now has an entire new look with a checkered robe where each lighter square displays numbers, blue slippers and a fancier crown. The palace hosts a bingo game that uses Jinjo Tokens, round collectibles with golden rims that players earn by beating Jinjo Challenges scattered throughout various worlds, with 72 tokens total across all locations that must be placed on the board within their corresponding slots to complete it. The game mechanics are different from traditional American bingo, as players place tokens manually instead of waiting for called numbers, with each slot requiring a specific color that matches the Jinjo who provided it through their completed challenge. Unlike regular bingo, this version lets players move their tokens on the bingo board until a complete row or column is achieved. Once a full line is completed, whether horizontally or vertically, all tokens in that line turn gray and get locked in place. The rewards work differently depending on what you complete, with filled rows giving different amounts of Musical Notes ranging from 75 to 300 depending on the specific row, while filled columns award vehicle parts including Folding Wings, Citrus Stick, Smoke Sphere, Stereo equipment, and more. Players can complete the entire board by filling every slot using all Jinjo Tokens. King Jingaling often talks about his plans for a window cleaning business when players claim their rewards. King Jingaling’s Bingo Palace also features a Mumbo Crate on its roof that can be accessed through a series of tightropes nearby.
