Jinjo Bingo

In Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts, King Jingaling runs the Bingo Palace, a large castle-like structure located in the Seaside district of Showdown Town south of Klungo’s Arcade near a lake. The establishment appears to be modeled after King Jingaling’s original Throne Room from the game Banjo-Tooie, though he now sports a redesigned appearance featuring a checkered robe where each lighter square displays numbers, accompanied by blue slippers and a flashier crown. The palace hosts a unique bingo game that operates through Jinjo Tokens, round collectibles featuring golden rims that players obtain by completing Jinjo Challenges scattered throughout various worlds, with a total of 72 tokens available across all locations that must be placed on the board within their corresponding slots to achieve completion. The game mechanics differ significantly from traditional American bingo, as players place tokens manually rather than waiting for called numbers, with each slot requiring a specific colored token that matches the Jinjo who provided it through their completed challenge. Unlike conventional bingo systems, this version allows players to freely move their tokens on the board until a complete row or column is achieved. Once a full line is completed, whether horizontally or vertically, all tokens within that alignment turn gray and become permanently locked in position. The reward structure provides different incentives based on completion patterns, with filled rows yielding varying amounts of Musical Notes ranging from 75 to 300 depending on the specific row, while filled columns award rare vehicle parts including Folding Wings, Citrus Stick, Smoke Sphere, Stereo equipment, and even more. Players can achieve ultimate completion by filling every slot on the board using all Jinjo Tokens. Adding characteristic humor to the interactions, King Jingaling frequently mentions his plans for a future window cleaning business venture when players claim their rewards. The palace also features a Mumbo Crate positioned on its roof that can be accessed through a series of tightropes.
