Your public profile introduces you to the BanjoComet community. Other members reach it from your comments, mentions and the member directory, and it shows your username, avatar and banner together with the details you decide to share, your Community Collection of Musical Notes, Jiggies and T.T. Trophies, and every comment you have published. Your avatar also appears beside each of your comments: hover over or focus the avatar or banner below to upload a replacement in JPEG, PNG or WebP format of up to 5 MB, or to restore the default. Avatars are cropped to a square and banners to a panoramic strip, and uploading your own avatar wins the Mumbo’s Makeover trophy. Your username is your public identity across BanjoComet and keeps the capitalisation you choose; it must be 3 to 30 letters, numbers, underscores or hyphens and start with a letter or number. Every other detail is optional. Use the plus beside a group heading to add a field such as your favourite game, an Xbox gamertag, a Nintendo Switch friend code or a YouTube channel, and the cross beside a field to remove it again. Links must use https and point to the service named by the field. Your changes are published as soon as you save them, while your email address, password and account data stay private in your account settings.
