Lady Lootsalot is a pig and one of the four Knights of Hamalot in Yooka-Laylee and Yooka-Replaylee. She accompanies Sir Scoffsalot, Sir Shootsalot and Lady Leapalot through quests in Tribalstack Tropics, Capital Cashino and Galleon Galaxy, although the group is spread across each world rather than travelling beside the player. Her clothing mixes a knight's chainmail with the appearance of a thief: a dark blue mask covers her eyes, a purple-and-white striped garment lies over the armour, and an orange belt and sword sit across her pale apron. Her dialogue frequently denies wrongdoing before anyone has accused her, and she is quick to warn Yooka and Laylee away from her possessions. The same suspicion affects her gameplay role when she hides a key from anyone approaching in plain view. She nevertheless cooperates when the duo follow the first world's treasure clues or offer her a helicopter ride. Her name and behaviour make her the group's thief, but her interactions range from sharing a clue and paying a fare to protecting treasure against the very characters who previously helped her.
Lady Lootsalot in Tribalstack Tropics
Lootsalot is the second Knight of Hamalot encountered during the original game's treasure hunt. Begin by speaking to Sir Scoffsalot at the end of Tribalstack Forest beside Duke's Temple, clearing the nearby enemies before starting his conversation. He gives a clue describing wet feet near a Corplet settlement. Its destination is the shallow water beneath the wooden bridge that leads up to the Tribal Village, close to the entrance of the world and below the route to Clara and Potty Mouth. Lootsalot appears for this stage after Scoffsalot has been consulted. She initially treats the visitors as an intrusion and insists that her loot is their business only to the extent that she chooses to reveal it. When Yooka explains that Scoffsalot sent them, she agrees to provide a clue to her partner rather than escorting them to him. Her reference to a bow and an island high score points to Sir Shootsalot near Rextro's Arcade Machine. In the original game, look behind the machine and its surrounding stonework. Shootsalot then supplies the final clue, which leads through the canal beneath Rampo's Temple to Lady Leapalot in the treasure chamber. Speak to Leapalot to open the Pagie's Cagie. Lootsalot does not award an additional Pagie for finding her; her conversation advances the single four-knight objective. The whole hunt belongs to the world's unexpanded content and can be completed without obtaining a transformation or defeating Rampo on the slope above his temple.
Lady Lootsalot in Capital Cashino
In Capital Cashino, Lootsalot is concealed inside a room near Rextro's arcade rather than standing openly on the casino floor. Her transport challenge requires the Chopper form provided by Dr. Puzz. First win the Mollycool from the slot machine near the D.N.Ray by lining up three Yooka-Laylee symbols, then deliver it to Dr. Puzz and transform. Fly toward the arcade and fire the Chopper's missiles at the cracked obstruction in the wall beside it to reveal Lootsalot's hiding place. Speaking to her in this form brings another protest of innocence, followed by a request for a free lift. She gives a rhyming clue to the casino vault, also called the Safe Room. In the original game, the trip allows 45 seconds, five seconds more than the other three knights' fares. The destination is at ground level in the far corner of the casino on the left side as viewed from the main entrance. Fly across the main room, destroy the breakable obstruction at the vault entrance and land inside its marked ring before the timer expires. Success pays five Casino Tokens, collected on the way out, and Lootsalot praises the ride before turning her attention to infiltrating the room. A failed journey can be retried. Her five tokens are half of the original Casino Banker's ten-token Pagie exchange; completing her fare does not directly give the duo a Pagie or finish the separate challenges inside the vault.
Lady Lootsalot in Galleon Galaxy
Lootsalot's third appearance is inside a small hut on Skull Island, an area added when Galleon Galaxy is expanded for 15 Pagies at its Grand Tome in Hivory Towers. Shovel Knight is waiting in the nearby cave with a locked vault and asks Yooka and Laylee to retrieve the four keys carried by the Knights of Hamalot. Lootsalot guards one of them, snatching it away when she notices the duo approach. She also offers an uneven division of any discovered treasure, reserving most of it for herself. Reaching her first requires clearing the boulders that block the hut's entrance. Use Slurp Shot, sold by Trowzer in Tribalstack Tropics for 30 Quills, to take a Bomberry from the plant beyond the nearby gap and fire it at the cracked blocks. Opening the doorway exposes the key but does not defeat her watchfulness. Back away until she puts it out again, activate Camo Cloak and enter while invisible to collect it. Trowzer teaches Camo Cloak for free during the Hivory Towers progression leading toward Capital Cashino; it is not a separate purchase on Skull Island. Lootsalot notices the loss afterwards and asks where her key has gone. Bring it to Shovel Knight, then obtain the other knights' keys to complete the vault objective. The eventual Pagie is inside the opened vault, so stealing Lootsalot's key is one part of a shared reward rather than an independent Pagie quest.
Lady Lootsalot in Yooka-Replaylee
Lootsalot returns beneath the wooden walkway to the Tribal Village in Yooka-Replaylee. Speak to Scoffsalot first, then use her clue to find Shootsalot on the flat rock above Rextro's Arcade Machine. This placement is higher than his original position behind the arcade. Leapalot remains the final stop in the chamber underneath Rampo's Temple. In Capital Cashino, blast the obstruction near the arcade to reveal Lootsalot, accept her request in Chopper form and deliver her to the vault. The fare still pays five tokens, but the revised exchange with Cashital Zee is five tokens per Pagie. On Skull Island in Galleon Galaxy, she again waits in the wooden shed and hides her key when the duo approach visibly. Use camouflage to take it without being seen, and collect the three other keys for Shovel Knight's vault. These later appearances preserve her suspicion of visitors while changing the wider progression: Replaylee provides the duo's moves from the beginning and opens the worlds in their expanded forms. The original Slurp Shot purchase and Galleon Galaxy expansion payment therefore belong to the 2017 instructions, rather than being additional requirements for her return.
Additional Information
Lootsalot's name describes her habit of taking and guarding valuables and follows the same Lancelot-based wordplay as the other Knights of Hamalot. The pre-release Character of the Day promotion highlighted her immediate denial of wrongdoing, the same joke heard when she is approached for a casino lift. Her written speech uses dropped letters and informal vocabulary, giving her conversations a different register from Scoffsalot's ceremonial greetings. The dialogue establishes that contrast without identifying a birthplace or a specific real-world accent. Her response after losing the Skull Island key is also more explicit than simple bewilderment: she knows which possession has disappeared and continues looking for it, even though the player used invisibility to take it.
