Community Rewards

Members of the BanjoComet community fill a small collection of their own while they take part in discussions. It borrows three collectibles from the Banjo-Kazooie series: Musical Notes record regular participation, Jiggies record how often other members found a comment helpful, and T.T. Trophies, named after the trophies Trophy Thomas awards in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, mark particular milestones. Every member’s collection is shown on their profile beneath the Community Collection heading. The rewards are calculated automatically from published activity and cannot be bought, traded or edited, and when a comment is removed by moderation, everything it earned is removed with it.
Musical Notes
Each published comment or reply collects 10 Musical Notes. Only the first 3 comments of each day count, measured in Coordinated Universal Time, so a member can collect up to 30 notes a day; further comments are welcome but add no notes. Spreading contributions over several days therefore builds a collection faster than posting many short comments at once. As in Banjo-Kazooie, notes open Note Doors. The nine doors listed below use the values of the first nine Note Doors of Gruntilda’s Lair, which open once the combined notes of every world reach the number on the door, and your profile shows how many of them your total has opened and how many notes the next one requires.
Jiggies
Jiggies are awarded by other members. Selecting the Jiggies earned label in the footer of a comment awards its author one Jiggy, which counts towards their collection permanently and cannot be withdrawn. Each signed-in member can award one Jiggy per comment and never to their own comments. Your profile also shows how many different members have awarded your Jiggies, because the larger Jiggy trophies require support from several people rather than from a single friend.
T.T. Trophies
Nine T.T. Trophies mark milestones of community life, from a first comment to a hundred Jiggies. Every trophy is won automatically once its condition is met, and a profile’s trophy cabinet shows both won and locked trophies; on your own profile, locked trophies also show how close you are.
